Our German friend currently based in Blauvelt, NY recently arrived on campus to demo a few of the film tools that Arri has to offer. Mr.Noesner covers all camera needs along the entire east coast from lenses and stabilization to mechanical and electronics accessories. Guenter is a retired  cinematographer with experience over 20 years. He spent the last decade of the 20th century working and traveling across Europe and Hollywood. After earning a University Diploma from FH Wuerzburg Schweinfurt studying film and photography. His career started with multiple german production companies managing projects, PA’ing and other work on commercials and music videos. Before establishing a position in the camera department he played to some of his other strengths freelancing in web and graphic design. Around the early 2000s he became a director at WHDT an independent HDbroadcaster in West Palm Beach. Utilizing state of the art LDK9000 Philips 720p cameras primarily studio environment. Back then no camcorders were possible for HD. Everything was tape deck based with Panasonic D5 decks, up converters and simultaneous SD broadcasting. Eventually joining Arri CSC in 2007 as a DIT and prep tech at that time analog ARRI camera rentals was the money maker and had began experimenting with D20, D21, and SRW-1 recorders, later the STWO Raw recorder.
